Mike died July 12, 1994 in Shelter Cove, Ca. It was early morning and his helo was trying to rescue 2 man off a sailboat that had run aground. There was no visibilty. All 4 aboard the aircraft perished. He had served in the Coast Guard since graduating from high school. He was a great guy and Audrey and I miss him terribly. Donna McJunkin Lepine
He was a sweetheart. I had him in several classes. Just one of the good ones. I am so saddened by this news. It doesn't surprise me he served his country and died in service as a hero. Love to his family.
